Summer season starts in the month of March and continues till June end. The season is very hot with maximum temperature between 40° C and 45° C. Tourists normally avoid visiting Konark temple during this season. April and May are the hottest months.

Winter season starts in the month of October and continues till February. The winter season is moderately cool and the temperature varies between 25 °C and 30 °C. Winter is the best season to visit Konark temple. December and January are the coldest months.
